My Client based in Lenham are looking for a Tool Builder to join their team.

The purpose of this role is to support a multi skilled team and ensure that all tooling is in good working order and has the correct setup condition ready for the next production run.

The main duties for the role are as below;
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, ensuring all waste is removed – clean as yoo go policy
* Completing all relevant paperwork to support external repairs
* Ensure periodic inspections are completed in a timely manner
* Maintaining full compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures
* Responsible for fault finding
* Ensuring all tooling complies with current regulations
* Carrying out analysis of persistent maintenance problems
* Complete planned maintenance of tooling as per schedule

A knowledge of either mechanics or engineering would be advantageous but this is not essential.

You will start the role working on day shifts 6am – 2pm for the first six months during your training period. After successful completion you will go onto a weekly shift rotation of;
6am – 2pm
2pm – 10pm
10pm – 6am

Once placed onto shift rotation, your salary will increase to reflect this.
