MC-Personnel are seeking a Goods In/  Front Desk Clerk to join a busy Customer Service team based in Darenth. We are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast pace environment.

The hours of work are 08:00 – 20:00, working a 4 days on 4 off pattern. You will be paid 4 weekly for 45 hours per week.

This role will be best suited to an energetic person with a positive outlook who has a can do attitude and the commitment to ensure things are completed.

The right candidate must be able to show flexibility and team work skills as well as have a high level of concentration as will be responsible for providing an efficient and accurate service within the office.

Job Duties

  • Operating a busy Goods in and out desk.
  • Liaising with drivers in regards to the CMR Containers.
  • Matching up arrivals on the arrivals board.
  • Liaising with the Warehouse and Customer Service teams.
  • Taking details of damaged containers entering or returning.
  • Printing Pick labels and handling paperwork accurately.
  • Handling 100+ vehicles per day – ensuring the correct load is given to the correct vehicle.
  • Ensuring key and fobs are in place at all times.
  • Meeting and greeting guests at the front desk.
  • Completing and handing out all paperwork.
  • Escalating issues to the Customer Services department.
  • Data Entry onto a specific system.
  • Being able to communicate with drivers and warehouse staff with various levels of skills.

Own transport is advantageous for this position as location is not easy to reach by public transport and free parking is available.
