We have some exciting news to share with you today!
Kingdom People Kent has recently partnered with Kent County Council (KCC) to support their initiative in enhancing the services provided at Family Hubs throughout Kent. We’re thrilled to inform you about this collaboration and help you find ways that you can get involved or support the scheme.
Our partnership aims to engage volunteers who are passionate about making a positive impact in their local communities. Volunteers will have the opportunity to join teams within Family Hubs, where they’ll play a vital role in providing support, guidance, and signposting to families with young children, ranging from babies through to 2 years old. KCC have a variety of hubs across 12 districts in Kent, so there is sure to be a hub that suits your needs and locale.
Up until now, Family Hub sessions have only run Monday to Friday and have typically been morning sessions, but we are now also looking for individuals who would be able to volunteer some Saturdays – likely to be either bi-weekly or once per month, dependent on demand from service users.
Volunteers will have the flexibility to commit as little as 2 hours per week, making it accessible for individuals with varying schedules. Moreover, comprehensive training and ongoing coaching will be provided to ensure that volunteers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference.
We believe that this initiative presents an excellent opportunity for individuals to give back to their communities in a unique and fulfilling way while also gaining valuable skills and experience. By participating in this program, volunteers will not only contribute to the well-being of families but also enrich their own personal and professional development.
We would love to discuss how you as an individual or your organisation can support or participate in this initiative. Whether it’s through volunteer engagement, sponsorship, or other forms of collaboration, your involvement would greatly contribute to the success of this program and the communities it serves.
Please let us know if you would be interested in learning more about how you can get involved.
Alternatively, you can WhatsApp us on the number 07949385629.
We’re more than happy to provide additional information or schedule a meeting at your convenience.
More details on what your participation could look like can be found below:
Corporate Volunteering Program / Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV):
If you offer a Corporate Volunteering program where you allow members of staff to have paid time off for volunteering, you could consider this project as a wonderful opportunity for your employees to make a meaningful impact in their communities while representing your company’s values of social responsibility.
Spread the Word:
You could share the word about this initiative with your staff, friends, and family. Your support in spreading awareness about this project will help us reach more potential volunteers and supporters, ultimately benefiting families in need.
Social Media & Marketing / Promotion:
You could help us spread the word on social media platforms as well, such as LinkedIn and Facebook. Maybe you are part of a local community project already, a part of an organisation locally where people may be interested? Your active participation in sharing our posts and updates will amplify our reach and engagement within the community.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
We understand it is not always possible to give up your or your staffs time. If you still want to be involved somehow there are a number of sponsoring opportunities. You could help support the project with funding which help to create more open days locally, increase online marketing efforts, fund equipment and resources etc. Your sponsorship will not only provide vital resources for the success of the project but also ensure that your logo is featured, thus acknowledging, and thanking you for your invaluable support.
Other Forms of Support:
Additionally, if you have any other ideas or ways in which you think you might be able to support the project, we are open to exploring and discussing them further! ! You may have much better local knowledge of either your work place or your local home community than us! Your creativity and collaboration are highly appreciated in helping us make a difference in the lives of families throughout Kent County. Family hubs are located throughout and we have opportunities for 144 volunteers starting from June for anything up to 12 months!
As a company, we are extremely excited about this opportunity and are passionate about helping our communities in any way that we can.
Thank you for considering this opportunity, and we look forward to the possibility of working together to support families in Kent County.
