Our client in Wye is currently looking for a Sous Chef to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an excellent local Gastro pub with an immediate start available

Your duties will involve:
Helping prepare and design all food menus
Producing high quality dishes
Ensuring the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets quality standards
Ordering supplies
Managing and training kitchen staff, establishing working schedules and assessing performance
Ensuring the team have high standards of food hygiene and following rules of health and safety

You will also be required to fill in for the head chef, planning and directing food preparation when necessary

Previous experience is essential for this role

The hours per week are between 40-50 hours, working mainly weekends and evenings
